About The Photographer

Hi! I’m Brian Fancher, a longtime photographer.  I have photographed people, places, and things around the world since I was a teenager and throughout a 21 year career in the United States Marine Corps.  Cameras are always with me in some form or another.  With today’s digital imaging revolution I have decided it is time to take my photography in a new direction, and to new levels of sophistication.

As part of that effort, I have undertaken this 365 photograph project for 2010.  I hope to find the discipline required to stay on task throughout the challenges to come.  I hope to refine my artistic vision and learn new skills.  I hope to meet new and interesting people, both in front of and behind the lens.  And most of all, I hope to find myself reveling at the end in a rich and rewarding experience.
