A test image of the 40D at ISO 1600 and Topaz Denoise used in post.


This was a test image of my 40D at ISO 1600 and using the newest Topaz Denoise plug-in for Photoshop in post-processing.  I am VERY surprised at the performance of the Topaz plug-in.  ISO 1600 is all-but unusable up to now.  But, at least with certain subjects, I can now safely use ISO 1600 and a fast f/1.4 lens to get shots I would not otherwise be able to shoot.
