Reflections on a year in 365 photographs

Our Daisy cat caught in the yard.

Considering the image:  I didn’t have a whole lot of time left in the day after completing a Half Ironman this morning, taking a long nap, taking the boys to the park, and cleaning the yard a bit.  While I was in the yard I noticed our two cats padding around and decided they would be the subject(s) for today.  So here is Daisy.  Her brother Jack would not cooperate with the camera.  At all.

Making the photograph:  This was another straight forward photograph.  The light was soft and flat.  I bumped the ISO to give me a decent shutter speed with the EF 50mm f/1.8 Mk 1 set at f/1.8.  I dialed in -2/3EV to saturate the colors a bit.  Post processing was simple curves and sharpening.  Easy day.  Nice family pet photograph.
