Reflections on a year in 365 photographs

Another Rainbow Row house detail.

Here is a second day’s image from Rainbow Row here in Charleston.  Today I changed perspective by moving down to a 24mm lens.  I also tried taking some images in landscape orientation, but that is really not what I’m looking for.  I think the 24mm includes entirely too much space in the frame for the mood I’m looking for.  I’m hoping for something more intimate….the one detail that makes the particular house unique.  Today’s photo is not helped at all by the harsh mid-day sun with the dark shadows and washed out color.  Yesterday didn’t have enough light.  Today provided way too much.  This row gets the warm glow of sunrise and that is going to be the best time.  I’ll try again later this weekend perhaps.
