Southern palms in Charleston, SC

Palmate

This is a young palm leaf in the woods near the marsh at my home near Charleston, SC.  I suspect this particular one will be transplanted to a hole in my landscaping left by a long-gone Magnolia.  I much prefer the palms.  And I love the green of impending spring.  I’m looking forward to the return of warm weather, running in shorts, and riding the surf at the beach.
